CESVIMAP carries out a wide range of processing and research activities in the field of the automobile in various centres in Spain. This policy statement is applicable to all our research, training, informative and assessment activities carried out in our Avila I installations.

We are committed to carrying out our activities with the maximum respect for the environment, as well as working for the constant improvement of our environmental performance.

In this regard, we are committed to preventing pollution and to finding ways and strategies to reduce the environmental impact of our processes and products.

Specifically, we are committed to:

- Developing energy efficient practices in our installations, and including environmental criteria in the design of new installations and processes.

- Meeting at all times the applicable requirements of environmental legislation and regulations, along with other requisites that CESVIMAP may have endorsed, allowing for the establishment of our own regulations where these do not otherwise exist.

- Reducing, wherever possible, the waste and emissions generated by our activities.

- Maintaining an ongoing and collaborative relationship with public bodies, with our neighbours and with other groups with interest in our activities.

- Providing appropriate training and awareness for our workers, in order to ensure that they use best environmental practice.

To meet these commitments, we apply environmental management principles and practices. Environmental objectives and targets are set annually, and their achievement and our progress are monitored closely.

This policy is revised periodically and handed out to all employees so that they are familiar with it; it is also available to any other interested party.
