Staff from Standox (www.standox.es), the DuPont group paint manufacturer, held two days of workshops with the CESVIMAP paintwork department on October 19th and 20th last. Leonardo Pérez and José Hermoso presented their new line of paint for the industrial vehicle, called Standofleet.

This product is compliant with the directive on VOC reduction, which applies to the whole sector of vehicle repainting.

Standofleet comprise 26 mix bases which cover the whole range of colours and qualities for commercial and industrial vehicles. The combination of resins (HS or High Build HS) with the different mix bases allows different finish qualities. This paintwork line is accompanied by all the products needed in order to carry out any task: putties, chromate-free fillers, primers and high solid varnishes.

After the presentation, a number of applications were carried out in the workshop to try out the products presented and let everyone get to know this new paintwork line.

During the next few months, the CESVIMAP paintwork department will be working with these products in order to ascertain their characteristics, and the department will also be using them within the research projects it is carrying out on industrial vehicle painting.
