SEAT and CESVIMAP collaboration increases in field of after-sales.

Antonio Gómez, Luis Custodio and Alejandro Pérez, from SEAT´s Technical Centre, spent 14th December at a day-long workshop with CESVIMAP staff, where attention was focused on vehicle technical characteristics and repairability.

At the meeting, which further strengthened collaboration between the two companies, low speed crash tests were carried out, along with tests on vehicle damageability and repairability. Particular emphasis was laid on the effect that matters such as spare part sales, materials types, joining techniques or accessibility have on repair procedures and costs. These aspects were observed during practical operations on a ’05 SEAT León; this vehicle provided by SEAT for analysis and study at CESVIMAP.
