The North American automobile equipment
manufacturer, Chief Automotive Technologies, has given its first
ever training course for distributors worldwide. The country chosen
for this course was Spain, and the location was the installations of
CESVIMAP in Avila. Training on the three-day course, entitled
“Unitized body analysis and repair” consisted of explaining the
complete process and the guidelines to follow for damaged vehicle
stretching, using the work bench and using the Chief laser
electronic measuring equipment.
More than thirty Chief distributors took part on the course, from
Israel, Holland, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, the Arab Emirates,
Finland, Norway, France, Romania, Spain and the United States, and
the course was therefore given completely in English. Technical
experts from the Cesvimap bodywork department were also able to take
part in the training sessions, which included a visit to Cesvimap’s
Training and Research Installations, and to the End-of-Life Vehicle
Treatment Centre, Cesvirecambios.
