In 1996, Mapfre created the MAPFRE Road Safety Institute, one of Fundación Mapfre´s corporate responsibility activities, to bring together the range of activities related to road safety that various parts of the organization were already carrying out.
This non-profit institute arose with a vocation to consolidate, systemize and empower a wide range of activities, aimed at preventing and reducing the high accident rates current in this country, acting particularly in three significant areas: the road and its surroundings, the vehicle, and the human being.
This is the raison d´être of the Ninth Annual MAPFRE Campaign for Road Safety. If you would like to take part in this campaign and prevent road
