Research is at the heart of all Cesvimap activities. Amongst these, one which is of great importance is the technical testing of the equipment, products and tools used in automobile repair workshops.
Technical testing aims to analyse the characteristics which define or identify a product, and this is done on demand for manufacturers, distributors or imports. The analysis is only applied to those properties which are quantifiable. Products are always analysed as a complete set of parts, rather than by their individual parts or elements. Comparative studies between different makes of the same product are not carried out.
Cesvimap issues a technical report for the party which has requested the test, in which are detailed the tests carried out, the test conditions and the results. If the result of the report is favourable, the applicant may request permission to use the “Cesvimap Technical Testing” logo.
