Connection with 3D-STUDIO MAX

We mustn´t lose sight of an important option available with this programme: to achieve the most realistic animation possible to back up the conclusions of the reconstruction. RECONSTRUCTOR 98 permits the exportation of scenarios and trajectories, so that the two pieces of software can be interconnected virtually automatically. RECONSTRUCTOR 98 can be set to work in conjunction with 3D STUDIO MAX, although we should point out that this programme is not included in the software.

RECONSTRUCTOR 98 generates files which, when we have gone out of that programme and into 3D studio, work as a bridge between the two; since they include all the information relating to the animation of RECONSTRUCTOR 98, the work of 3D Studio is enormously simplified, with regard to adjusting the trajectories, changes of directions, speeds etc. of the vehicles. What is more, since the animation of RECONSTRUCTOR 98 is based exactly on its own previous calculations, the trajectories, changes of direction and speeds we will get on 3D Studio will also be accurate.

The world of research into road traffic accidents covers a very wide area, and IT can offer an explanation for the vast majority of accidents, but not for all of them, given the wide range of parameters which come into play in an accident.
