Application of three-layer finishes

Specialization

Directed to professionals in the painting area who wish to study in depth the different methods, equipment and products used in vehicle painting operations and to technical advisers service.

Employability: Automotive manufacturers are constantly exploring new trends in color, looking for bold and complex new effects that enhance their body designs. Paints with single-layer finishes are long gone; metallic and pearl bilayers are now the most representative of the automotive market. But little by little, the presence of the three-layer finish has reached a notable presence. With this course, the technical service advisor will have enough knowledge to understand the differences in the work processes between a two-layer system and a three-layer system, in addition to knowing how the CESVIMAP Painting Scale interprets and values these two processes.

Contents:

  1. What is a three-layer (three-layer background and effect color, three-layer with tinted varnish).
  2. Values for the repair of three-coat finishes. Comparison of sanding / wet on wet process.
  3. More expensive test tubes and basics.
  4. 3-layer blur: 3-layer white, 3-layer red. Solutions from different paint manufacturers.
