Aimed at auto body repair professionals, who wish to learn or become established in the measurement and approach of shots and counters at work on bench.

Employability: you will handle with ease with the bodywork measurement processes and you will learn to select the most appropriate methodology for the correct repair of a vehicle on bench. We will train the sheet metal worker in the proper measurement of a damaged body, so that he is able to plan the shots and counters necessary to achieve the conformation of the vehicle. Likewise, it will be handled with different control and measurement systems, and it will become familiar with the basic principles of conformation. We will explain the influence that bench work has on the steering geometry and the subsequent behavior of the vehicle.

Contents:

  1. Behavior of the self-supporting body in a collision.
  2. Techniques for dealing with a damaged body.
  3. Foundation of the bench.
  4. Measurement and control systems of a bodywork.
  5. Knowledge of the characteristics of the different benches and drawing tools.
  6. Basic principles of stretching.
  7. Application of the basic principles to the conformation of a body with frontal blow.
  8. Rules for the application of shots, supports and counters.
  9. Shaping of a body with a lateral blow, applying the principles and standards studied.
  10. Basic instructions for controlling the steering geometry, before and after shaping the bodywork.
