Training

Aimed for car enthusiasts, middle and higher level vocational training technicians, engineers and workshop professionals who wish to focus their work activity to the valuation and appraisal of damages in vehicles and put it into practice from different approaches, either as an independent automobile expert or for insurance companies, expert cabinets, renting companies, vehicle rental companies, etc., or as a workshop receptionist of bodywork, both in official dealerships and in multi-brand workshops.

Objective: We open professional paths both to young people interested in the automotive sector and to professionals who want to recycle their cooking. During the course, you have the possibility of doing internships in expert cabinets (40 hours) and / or in the reception of body shops (40 hours) to know first-hand the day-to-day life of the profession and have access, in certain cases , to work.
You will learn the methodology of expert work and the operation and expert management of computerized valuation systems. You will also have an approach to the technical process of vehicle repair. Likewise, legal training is added, essential to establish the expert opinion.

Contents:

1. Legal concepts: Insurance coverage, regulations, limits and exceptions.
2. Repair and replacement processes for metal and plastic parts, windows, types of paint, suspension and tires.
3. Assessment of vehicle damage in the workshop, manually and through specific software: Audatex, GT Estimate and Eurotax.
4. Other damages: pretensioners, airbags, fires …
5. Assessment of damage to other vehicles: motorcycles, trucks, agricultural vehicles, etc.
6. Put all the knowledge you acquire in an expert technical report and defend it in court.

The Advanced Course in Automobile Expertise is part of the CESVIMAP Chair, and is prepared and taught by CESVIMAP. It provides an Own Degree granted by the Catholic University of Ávila (UCAV).
