Aluminum welding certification DIN EN ISO 9606.

Specialization

Aimed at repair professionals who wish to expand their knowledge of aluminum welding techniques.

Employability: you will learn about the most significant characteristics of aluminum and its behavior against different treatments. We will introduce you to the different methods of joining by welding the aluminum sheet, as well as the precise tools. Course structure: On the fifth day of the course, each trainee will receive an assessment with theoretical-practical tests. This evaluation will be carried out by an examiner from an accredited company for the homologation of welders under the UNE-EN ISO 9606-2 – DIN EN ISO 9606-2 131 P BW 23 S t2 PE ss nb sl standard.

Contents:

  1. Use of aluminum in the manufacture of bodywork.
  2. Characteristics of aluminum. Suitability for welding processes.
  3. Weldability of aluminum and its alloys.
  4. Protection and security measures in aluminum welding processes.
  5. Equipment for welding aluminum in the workshop. Conditioning.
  6. Aluminum sheet welding. Overlapping union. Butt joint. Joint by points to plug.
  7. Practice: evaluation of weld results:
