In 1989, CESVIMAP, through its engineering department, took part in the setting up of the first of its own repair shops in Majadahonda (Madrid), with the objective of putting into practice the management and working methods arrived at from our permanent research in the world of the automobile. The second repair shop was inaugurated in 1997, in Alcalá de Henares (Madrid). Today these two repair shops go by the name of MULTISERVICAR. The repair shops offer an optimum level of quality in their repairs, backed up by a unique and exceptional management system. The success obtained corroborates the fact that the CESVIMAP working methodology has a practical application in the market.
The CESVIMAP engineering projects consider the potential capacity of the repair shop and its constructive needs. Likewise, they value the configuration and layout of its areas, the specific facilities to carry out the working procedures and the equipment and the dedicated tools with which each work post is fitted. The quantification and qualification of personnel, according to the characteristics and future forecast for the repair shop, are other aspects which are considered, along with the establishment of guidelines for the control and management of the activity.
CESVIMAP develops these projects in various stages, from the initial data collection to obtain an overall perspective of the business, to the setting in motion and periodic monitoring of its activities. In other words, this consultancy service can be limited to just one-off actions, or cover the development of a "key in hand" project.
The engineering department undertakes, as well as the projects and studies of layout, other consultancy work and activity designed mainly for automobile repair shops, with the guarantee of CESVIMAP's prestige as a Research Centre and Repair Shop.
